Bringing an organization to life through illustration
Commissioned by HIROC, one of the largest healthcare insurance non-for-profits in Canada, I created an illustration for their subscriber orientation. The illustration would be used as in printed marketing materials, orientation packages, digital assets online and on social media.
I began by imagining HIROC’s different service offerings as structures within a larger community. Starting with some loose sketches, I began to tighten the concept and transform the main brand colour, HIROC Blue, into fleshed out colour palettes.
My goal for this project was to create an playful illustration that was full of life, interconnected and symbolizs what HIROC as an organization has to offer.
